About
My Story
I am Michael Salum and I was born in Southern California. I only lived there for a brief period of time before relocating to the Southeast where I spent most of my childhood. I went into the U.S. Army at the young age of 17. Following the completion of my tour of duty I attended the University of Georgia receiving a degree in Agronomy. I spent the next 20 years or so in the environmental sciences field before I decided to follow my passion for photography and returned to school in 2011 to pursue a degree in photography at the Art Institute of Austin Texas. I established my business, Tilted Pix, in January 2013 and have been capturing images ever since.
My Experience
In my 6+ years of professional photography experience, I have had the privilege to shoot many events and people. Whether I am shooting a portrait in the Texas hill country or a corporate event in San Antonio, you can rely on me to deliver beautiful photos capturing the images you will cherish for a lifetime.
My Photos
l look for my photography to capture timeless photographs. That moment will never happen again exactly the same way as it did the first time. I strive to seize the opportunities that allow for those moments to be preserved forever. Timeless is a quality that every photographer wants in each photo.
